@JamesNevans

Hi -

I have one of your 1969 needs - #487. If you can use it, I'll swap it for any similar condition 1960s card that I need. LMK. Thanks!!

Let's see if we can expand it a bit to be worth the postage. I saw these additional 1957's too are usable, all but Burdette & A's Team ($15 each) are commons ($8):

1957 Topps #99 Bob Keegan (CWS)

1957 Topps #106 Ray Moore (BAL)

1957 Topps #111 Hal Smith (STL)

1957 Topps #123 Steve Ridzik (NYG)

1957 Topps #144 Ray Narleski (CLE)

1957 Topps #204 Kansas City Athletics (KCA)

1957 Topps #208 Lew Burdette (MIL)

Here were my 4 best condition 1957 traders, with the Deckle Edge Powell and two Decals, if you count the rough condition Rose (bad corners upper left, lower right) at half value we are on par on book. Last question, do you actually have the #630 Bobby Bonds RC in your partial set? If so, I would give you a knockout offer to part with it, would you like to see what would be? Hint: two of the toughest big knockout SPs you need.

EDIT: On closer inspection the Dale Long has a light crease through the top upper left quadrant. Let me know if you'd still like it at half value and I'll see if I can substitute appropriate number of other 50's or 60's cards.

First, I do not have the Bonds RC - I'm looking for it myself!

Here are the scans of the 1957s. They all have some flaws. Let me know if you need any more info on their condition.

Also, I don't like the Decals. Anything else to take its place?

Let me know what we can work out. LMK. Thanks!!

Okay, I'm fine with condition and I can send you the guys in the scans and replace out the decals with this one? #32 has upper left light crease.

James -

I have a few lower grade I just picked up from your lists:

197, 246, 620

And a few that are mid grade:

131, 246, 270, 441, 461, 583, 604

and a pretty decent 630 Bonds RC

Interested in the 1960 low grade Mantle for a low grade 1960 set I'm building.

PLMK your thoughts.

Thanks!

You list #246 twice. You mention a decent Bonds, can you scan that? I'm trying to assess a condition value. My vintage guide is from 2019, and I know some stars have moved up in price, do you know the current BV of a Bonds RC, that guide says $30. I can't let a Mantle go without getting another Mantle, but I have a 1950's Braves HOF card in mind that you need that I might part with.

Scanner not working well, but snapped a pic of front/back. Looks like biggest flaws are bottom left and top right corners.

For card #246, I have a low grade and a mid grade. OPG has Bonds @ $60 currently.

Understand about the Mantle, let me know what you have in mind.
Thanks!

I'm not sure the BV of the 1956 Mathews #107 has risen any from my guide's $100, but thought you might be interested in this, it does have a surface wrinkle, maybe light crease, although it doesn't really show form the back, right under the "H" in his signature:

The high book for Eddie is $200. I have a ‘56 in my Mathews collection, but not in my Braves team set. What trade value are you putting on it?

I also have this 1956 Spahn, I was hoping to trade those for stars in my 1957 set, look for my 1957 thread and see if you can his something similar need, my biggies being Frank or Brooks Robinson, Whitey Ford, Al Kaline, Duke Snider, Sandy Lofax, , if not even a key Giant or two is fungible for me to trade, anything that looks fair I'll consider. staple mark on right side, looks like adhesive residue on back corners, but otherwise a nice card.

I know I don't have an extra Frank, Brooks, Whitey, Sandy, Al or Duke lying around.

How close do you think we are with Mathews headed my way and Bonds and others headed yours?

If you have ant Giant that is in the $100 range, that would work, I was hoping not to to trade a big one for a bunch of small ones, certainly not commons, but lacking that I could take a few cards from that tough series in roughly similar shape. I only have about 20 of the 1957 cards between 269 and 351, so maybe list eight and I pick six and that would value up.

Understand, looks like we don’t match up real well on this one. Maybe down the road. Will reach back out if I come across any of the 1957 biggies or a 1969 Mantle.

Hi James

I have these in varying grades (I will work on some scans tonight):
1969 Topps #150 Denny McLain

1969 Topps #452A Al Ferrara
1969 Topps #468A Rookie Stars/Bruce Dal Canton RC/Bob Robertson
1969 Topps #475 Tim McCarver
1969 Topps #487 Denis Menke
1969 Topps #492 Tony Cloninger
1969 Topps #600 Tony Oliva

I am White Sox team collector. Confirm that you still need these and lmk if you have anything I might be interested in.

These are needs, I'm not too worried about condition, slot in my 2019 guide has yours at $30 value and mine at $26 value. But if this works for you you could post it up. Edit: I have a nice NM-MT 1977 Steve Stone as well, and while I am not posting up a picture, I realized that the 1975 Chuck Tanner card was the unmarked team checklist that will be EX+ with touched to the corners. And lastly, I'll include a 2011 Topps Chrome X-Fractor #159 Paul Konerko.
