I actually have that Cowboysa green set around here somewhere. If I'd ever found it, I'd have traded it to you. The Cowboys Green set is the only regional McDonalds set I have of all the hundred plus ( 28 teams X 4 colors) of these sets out there. Unfortinately, I lived in an area where only the very common Natonal set was distributed.
Now you need to track down the other three colors of Cowboys sets.
I read somewhere recently that these regional sets were only distributed for 1 week at a time. So if you lived in an NFL market, you had one week to get the specific color set. Given there were 4 weeks to do this, that is a lot of Micky D's!!

Horrible to think someone sacrificed their life to get these! Maybe that's why the Septien wasn't in there... they keeled over before getting it!
It would be cool to have the Gold Tab set (You know me...) but I'm guessing they are outrageously overpriced! I just got lucky and that dude from Colorado had all except one and gave me a great deal!
Some of the various team colors are very scarce for some reason. I'm not sure if there was a distribution problem in some markets or what. I live between NYC and Buffalo so I was in No Man's Land for the regional sets.
Weird how out of the 112 regional sets we both own the same one and only that one!!
That "dude in Colorado " got them last month in Dallas.
And paying for Rafael Septien... gross. I'm sorry, I didn;t know he wasnt in there, and he's the last guy I'd want to spemd money on..24 out of 25 cards would have haunted me! I didn't realize it was part of the set either until I put them in my OPG inventory. I always wondered why ebay has a minimum of 99 cents on a single card. I've paid waaaaay too much on some cards because of this. The Septien is one, and I recently paid a whopping $1 on a James Washington RC... I think it was .15 in Beckett. lolThat "dude in Colorado " got them last month in Dallas.
I've been baffled for years as to why people still want to adhere to Beckett "values" , but I go along with it when it's how people wanna trade, and just don't put anything in a trade that is actually worth (in the real world) more in real world money. But anyway, yeah, 99 cents makes sense. Selling a card for 15 cents on ebay would be 13 cents after seller fee and negative money after insertion fee haha. And if someone really wants to finish a set they aren't tunhappy about the convenience of spending a couple bucks for that one last common. ...unlesss maybe of course it was Mr Rafael "pled guilty to inappropritate stuff with a 10 year old girl" Septien. Ha. thats a long nickname.
Well that conversation took a turn I wasn't expecting!! Now I feel guilty for spending money on a piece of shizer like that!! I didn't even know about that happening... I might just have to get rid of it now that I know. I'll be able to live with 24 out of 25 knowing the one I don't have I'm not really missing, just don't want!! Geezaloo 10?!?!
If he was facing the camera I would have just cut his junk off 'cuz that's what any kid diddler deserves... my OPG says I have another card of his. Gotta find it and get rid of it also. I won't have one of those "people" in my collection. Thanks for bringing it up... I may have never have known about it unless you said something.
