I was talking with one of Chandy, one of the most knowledgeable folks in regards to the 1990 Donruss Aqueous Test Cards. He passed on the information below when I asked him about the 1990 Donruss Blue/White Test Issue Cards. I found it pretty interesting and asked if he would mind if I shared it with everyone here and he said go for it. So here it is...
"Craig......as of the present time, I have not found any cards that exist in both aqueous and blue-white format.....apparently
there were 2 sheets from the 1990 Donruss product printed with the AQUEOUS TEST overprint, and a third different press sheet printed for the blue/white......sometimes a player has an all-star in one issue and a regular card in the other product, but so far, none of the same cards have turned up to the best of my knowledge....I haven't ever encountered anyone who found an original blue/white source other than mine; there was one other "find" of aqueous test cards in Wisconsin....best answer I can give......hope it helps...sincerely, Chandy"
I hope it helps answer some questions for collector's out there!
Thanks
Craig
