Joe is one of my all time favorite Astros. Houston picked him off the Waiver wire from the Braves after the '74 season for only $20,000. The Astros kept trying him as a middle reliever, but in '76 finally decided he would be a good fit in the starting rotation (this did give Cliff Johnson fits). He left the 'stros as the club's all time wins leader in '85, and still holds that title today.
Buskey was a solid pitcher, too. Both left us way too soon.
