So my wife got tickets for me and her for a Meet & Greet prior to the game on Saturday.

I was pretty awesome, I got all these guys on balls but they signed the photo for her.

The one on the bottom is the long time stadium announcer AKA: THE VOICE OF GOD.

It was pretty awesome to see Quade, Macha, and Howe all standing next to each other.

Back story is that the first A's game we went to as a couple was the game that they won the 20th game, so it does have some special meaning to us.

Thanks for looking

I watched Howe since he came up with the Astros in '75. He has always been a class act, and I loathed the depiction of him in the book and movie, "Moneyball." He could have avoided this event like the plague, but chose to honor the players and the team, and came any way...despite the fact they're playing the darn movie on the screen at the park after the game today. Terrific successes, Chris! I love the photo! It looks great!

I think that's pretty cool in itself... gives "Moneyball" a little special meaning I guess.

Congrats,
Adam

Howe was awesome. He was one of those guys you meet and just think, "Wow, what a great guy!" He was very appreciative of the fans there to meet and talk to him, truly genuine.

This photo will be traveling with us as we get chances to get others to sign it.

Now I'm playing catch up again after a great weekend.
