I see people stating they need SP cards and light colored back SSP. I know what the SP cards are, but what are the SSP cards?

The SSPs are the nameplate variations where the box on the bottom that has the player's name, team and position are different colors from the base card issue. Here's a link to an example of the Mauer on Ebay:

Here's a link to all the quirks and what the SSP color variations are...I believe they all have a white back similar to the 426-500 SP's...Mike

That's what I thought they were. After seeing what they're going for on eBay, I'm going to pass on trying to collect them. Thanks for the info.
