about the only part of A&G that I like anymore are the oddball and ***** League base cards...does anyone know who the ***** Leaguers are this year?

Have you tried baseball card pedia? They usually are really good about listing that kind of stuff

I checked out the check list on blowcards...and did not see anything about the ***** leaguers in the above check list. I would think they would still have them again. Best regards, David

I didn't see any on the baseballcardpedia checklist, but quite a few of the checklist spots still have a "TBD" next to them, so there is a possibility that some of those spots would be ***** Leaguers.

For the recognition alone I hope they continue to put ***** League players in the set. A&G is so popular though it's really hard for me to chase down those printing plates and other low numbered cards. I'll accept that trade-off though:)

Appears as though there aren't any. Interesting.

that really sucks...that was one of my favorite things about the set...looked forward to it each year....sure, the oddball TTM stuff is a lot of fun, but the main part I liked were the ***** Leaguers...without that, i don't even want to fool with it this year....sad, sad,sad...there are a lot of these guys still alive that will never get the last 15 min of fame they deserve. How did Topps manage screw this up?

I usually like the non-baseball subjects they put in A&G, but this year it's looking REALLY weak. I like the cards of historical figures, not to mention the ***** Leaguers as well. Do we really need cards of Jo Frost, Topps?

Totally agree, I am very sad to see they are not being included in the set this year. Topps really dropped the ball.

For a "vintage" set to not include ***** league players is mind boggling !

Those are awesome! Sadly, a couple of those guys have already passed away...but, at least they got some deserved attention before they left us.

so...no ***** leaguers this year? If that is the case then I'm done with A&G.

Agreed, the funnest part was getting their TTM's:

Are there any other living ***** League players that A&G hasn't covered?

Yes, quite a few. You have some big named guys who played in the ***** Leagues and Major Leagues and then a bunch more that just played in the ***** League. Some were just a few years but many are still around that had long careers there.
