I received the following:

259 unique base cards - no duplicates!!
78.4% of the base set of 330!

In keeping with the issues of the most recent past, 2011 Topps is printed on bright white cards with a glossy front and a matte finish on the reverse. The design has little changed from the previous years - once you find something good - stay with it. I like the reverse of the card- each one contains the entire pro stats of the player. I also like the tradition of giving 'key' numbers in the set to the major stars of MLB - #1 Braun, 7 Mantle, 25 Crawford, 100 Pujols, and 330 Jeter - to name a few....

2011 Topps - Series One - 60th Anniversary edition - one pretty cool item on each of the base cards - on the reverse the original player who was on the 52 Topps card is listed... #1 Braun 2011 / #1 Pafko '52.

This issue does not disappoint - Topps has added some 'twists' for the collector - the addition of short printed Sparkle cards - the list has been posted in this forum... plus a short printed Crawford card in a Red Sox uni... (that was very hard to type!!) The number of insert sets is rather large and the master set builder might have a small hill to climb - especially for the gold parallels and the sparkle card parallels.

The Diamond Card giveaway is kind of cool... much like the Million Card Giveaway redemption. The odds of getting a good card is small and if you get a 'borderline' card, you have to pay processing fees...., however if you get one of the great cards... rock and roll!!

Overall Grade A+ no dupes in my box... (and after several other boxes, I still haven't pulled a sparkle card... )

Go buy several boxes and send the Rays parallels to me!!
