Anybody else pull this card with what appears to be the "diamond sparkle" variation on the brim of his batting helmet?

I have pulled two, plus his gold card and they all have the "sparkle". Either I am extremely lucky (doubtful) or this is a mistake by Topps....

Every single one of them that is for sale on ebay, including the parallels, has the sparkle. It appears to be that all his cards have it. If you pull one without the sparkle, well, now you may have something!

Yeah I got excited when I pulled it, but then went on eBay and saw that they are all like that. It might just be something natural from the picture they chose...but it was a dumb move by Topps to do that. I wonder how many people have paid a premium for that card thinking they were getting something rare.

I agree..something tells me it was a printing error. The sparkle was supposed to be there, but just in limited quantity and every Brown card got ended up with it.

Thought I could relax opening the rest of the packs knowing I wouldn't get another sparkle..guess it is back to checking every card carefully now!!!

#335 is Chris Heisey, not Brandodn Phillips. And I pulled a #466 Jihnny Damon that has a sparkle. Where did you get this list?

I pulled a Matt Holliday #490 that is a definite sparkle (I pulled 3-4 of these in Series One) - not on that list. The sparkle is in the middle of his chest to the left of the Cardinal on his jersey.

The Brown sparkle is actually the reflection of the sun in the cameras lens it seems.

I didn't think so but this just sounds like a REALLY bad idea !

Is it a sparkle ? Is it a reflection ? Is it a mistake ? Where exactly is the sparkle ? YUK !!

Another issue is the Tampa Bay Rays jerseys. If you look at them, they all have what appears to be a sparkle on the right chest portion......

I don't think that Brown's is a sun reflection..I think they messed up and printed the entire run with the sparkle.

I got screwed up with the Rays thing in the Series 1 cards. I'd be flipping through the base and go "there's a sparkle!", then a closer look would reveal that it's just the jersey.

I personally don't like this whole sparkle SP thing. I understand why Topps does it, but it can be more trouble than it's worth sometimes.

I started busting packs immediately after posting my last message -- two packs in - a Dustin Pedroia sparkle. No doubt about this one!

And I was thinking about this...I liked the hidden Abe Lincolns on some of the Cubs cards two years ago..I think it would be cool if they did something like that for each city/team. The Liberty Bell for Philadelphia, et. al.

#466 Johnny Damon has a sparkle on the card I got from my box but I am not sure if all the Damon cards are like that. This sparkle thing is starting to suck.

I noticed this with the HTA packs. I busted two boxes and only got one sparkle card. It was a Cole Hamels with the sparkle on his glove. It was in the insert part of the pack -- the middle 10 cards of inserts -- sandwiched between a 60 years of topps card and a gold border card. So it is some sort of SP. Kinda obnoxious card actually.
