2011 Topps blue?

Is that yet another parallel to the 2011 Topps series? If so, is it just for update, or does it span the entire set like the hope and cognac parallels do?

According to baseballcardpedia.com the light blue parallels are a walmart exclusive the dark red parallels are a target exclusive

Walmart blue, Target red...probably their store colors...

So it looks like the red and blue are ONLY for the Update cards, and not series 1 and 2, like the hope and cognac.

(I still have a hard time believing that I have to type the word cognac when referring to baseball cards...)

Too many varations for me. Some of the parallel inserts like the cognac cards are for the updates (US38) and others for the original topps! Best regards, David

Does anyone know the odds on the walmart blues or target reds, or are they similar to the black and throwback versions where there are two packs per blaster?

I bought 1 $9.99 "hanger pack" (72 cards with a guaranteed Diamond Giveaway card) at Wal-Mart and pulled 2 of the Blue parallels from it. I bought 10 $4.99 rack packs and pulled zero Blues from those. Didn't buy any blasters so I don't know if they are in there.

I found out today, it looks like those are replacing the Walmart black and Target retro versions...Bought two blasters, each had two packs of the exclusive Wamlart blues. Kind of irritating in that they couldn't have finished the 2011 set with the black and retro cards for sets sake, maybe started the store colored parallels next year? Oh well, I'll still try to get them all anyways.

yea those come 2 per (9.99) pack that has the 72 cards per box and one card for the diamond. I got 2 from walmart and 1 from Target and i now have 4 blue and two red.
