Is the A&G back on this mini a variation or the normal back for this card? If it is a variation, how rare are they? thx

Yes, it is the A&G back variation. I think they were inserted about 4-5 per hobby box.

For reference, the book value on the Alvarez is $1.50 (regular back BV is $1.25).
