Looking for something else, I happened to find out about this set being released today... 2012 Topps Monopoly.

http://www.baseballcardpedia.com/index.php/2012_Topps_Monopoly

Get excited everyone. Reading Railroad parallels coming your way and it doesn't involve a Phillies prospect either.

So, Topps has a limited number of sets they can release each season and they waste one on this?

$100/pack. Lovely. I feel sorry for the one who pulls the Jason Motte or John Axford #1/1. Weeee!

This is silly. They are trying so hard to find something new that they've forgotten what works.

If anyone busts any packs, trade me your Indians! What? There aren't any? Excellent. I'm done with the Indians master set!

Lastly, stop screwing up sets by honoring Mickey Mantle by leaving a number 7 card out of the set. Why then is his card listed under 36? Gaylord Perry finds that dishonorable.

My apologies to those that find this set fascinating.

Umm I think that's an April Fool's joke making fun of Topps' actual monopoly in the baseball card market. Look at the release date.

That is the first thing I thought when I saw this. Topps would not dare issue a set mocking their own Monopoly though. I saved those scans for some fun referencing later though.
