The mini SP's are the same as the base SP's click the link below shows what cards are the SP's in the base set

Theses short prints easier than the Heritage! In the hobby packs....the base short prints are backwards in the pack and the variations have multipy players or mascot in the card (only one of the base cards has two players has A Rod sliding into a bag) and the mini and base short prints are like David said....the same players from the base short prints. There are also codes on the back of the cards that indicate SPs as well. I believe the base end in 07, while the base SPs end in 08. And the minis end in 15, while the mini SPs are 16. Don't quote me on the numbers, but that is the easiest way if you don't want to take the time to look up the checklist.
