2013 Pro Debut
24 packs - 8 cards per pack
2 auto'd cards, 1 patch card, and one relic per box
I received the following:
184 distinct and unique base cards - 83.6% of the base set of 220.
In keeping with the Topps base set, Pro Debut is a little brother to the Topps regular set. I really like the minor league logos - most are much more interesting than the pros. The cards are bright white with a glossy front and the reverse has a short write up of the player along with minor league stats.
#ed to 50
Check out the smile on this kid's face - that's what it's all about (and the $$$)
Bubba Grape #ed120/120
A J Jiminez
Claudio Custdio - redemption
1/1 Printing Plate - Yellow
Pro Debut is an excellent issue for the set builder and for the folks that have a minor league team in their town. This is also one of the earliest issues for Puig - even tho he is not in a Dodger uniform. This is one of those issues that one buys and puts up in the closet for several years - gets it back out to see who has made the 'Bigs' and what his card might now be worth....
This is the perfect issue for sticker autos - and that is what I received. I would have preferred an actual patch card and not a manufactured mascot card - but it's still pretty cool. The mascot card is about as thick as 4 cards and is very well done and numbered.
The gold parallels are numbered to only 50 - I like that! They become much more special when the press run is shorter - good job Topps!
Overall grade - A+ well done!!
Go buy several boxes and send the minor league Rays to me!!
