Have built this 2013 Topps Silk set over the years. All cards in the 300 card set are numbered to 50. Some are relatively inexpensive (less than $10) but some are in the $10-$20 range with a few others In the $50+ range. The Trout & Arenado go for upper 3 figures, WHEN YOU CAN FIND THEM. Looking for opinions on what I can sell the set for.

What's your best guess?

10/08 Could use a checklist of this set, if anyone has one or can send one from OPG. Thanks

Team lots? I see baseball card collctors still collect certain players when they go to a different team. Alot more than football collectors at least.
As for a selling amount all I can say is price them around BV with Best Offer... unless they're the $100 plus ones. Go big on those. Are the $100+ cards gradable? Might consider sending them in, if they get decent grades auction those with reserve... just a thought. Sorry I can't help with numbers... best of luck!!

I agree with the others, piecing it out is the way to go. The trouble with sets like this is limited demand. Not many people are looking for a complete set. It might be cool to have for $300-500, just becuase it is low #'d, but anyone WORKING on the set, usually doesn't want to just buy the complete set, and the guys who are looking for key cards usually don't want the whole set unless it is at a steal of a deal, because about 90% of a given set is relatively low demand. It hasn't reached the iconic levels of the 1993 refractors or Gold refractors years later. It's a bit like assembling a Bowman international set or the collectors choice gold/silver signature sets. Demand is solid for the HOF'ers and big stars, the rookies have demand, but the commons are a much tougher sell. Even with it being /50, there are a lot of cards /50 or less in dealer bargain boxes for a quarter to a couple bucks. Projects like this are fun for the builder, for the stories and the memories, but it's tough to come out much ahead, if at all.

Thanks for that. I did have a great time building it! I'm leaning toward selling in team lots but pulling the higher $$ cards (Trout, Harper, Arenado, etc) and moving separately.

Honestly a flagship parallel set numbered to 50, I would consider a consignment company for the complete set. If you do it individually you’ll need to grade the big ones.
