I wrote Doug Mientkiewicz (my favorite all-time player and subject of my only collection of items related to a single-player) a couple weeks ago. I included an sase and a long letter about my collection and interest in the hobby and him as a player. I also asked if he still signs ttm, specifically if he'd sign a baseball ttm. Today I got back 2 cards and an oversized Twins photocard, none of which I sent, all three signed and a note on the back fo the photocard! Made my day and I'll take the baseball ttm question as a "yes."
