5/28 Ball Return - two firsts

After getting Rick Monday's signature on a 76 Topps card and really liking the way he signs, I decided to send him a ball. I sent it to the stadium about a week ago and got it back today.

Two firsts:
1. He did not sign the sweet spot (totally fine, I think the ball looks great)
&
2. He returned the pen. I've sent out 11 balls and Rick was the first to send back the pen.

You know, back in the day, the Dodgers had two players in their outfield with awesome penmanship-Monday and Reggie Smith. I've always liked both of their sigs. Terrific players, too!
