6 Degrees of Mantle...

What is the 6 degrees of Mantle? I get the concept ie Kevin Bacon, but what is up with the variation card backs? I pulled a LaPorta 6 degrees of Mantle, is it is SP is it worth more or are they all 6 degrees of Mantle?

Jeremy - I'm not sure if all of the Topps cards have it or not. I do know that Max Scherzer's card has it though. It mentions Andre Dawson in the text. Maybe one of our set collector's can chime in to help you out.
