7 months for LaPorta...

Way back in May, I picked up a box of '09 Finest baseball.. I got two redemptions, one of the being the #1 Rookie Redemption. I hung onto it until the name was released and it was Matt LaPorta. So being a Cleveland Indians collector, I was naturally really excited! At that point, I didn't have anything from him in an Indians uniform, just minor league.

Fast-forward a little over 7 months later.. Still nothing! It has been pushed back several times but I just checked the Topps Redemption website again and it has FINALLY been shipped!!! I hope it comes tomorrow..

but really now, 7 months for a redemption? That's pretty crazy.. They barely squeaked it in before the New Year.

Ouch! You should call to complain, they might give you something for making you wait. You never know unless you call!

7 months...I've been waiting since March on a UD redemption with no end in sight...it was submitted 3/12/09 and the last update on it was that same date...all it says is "be patient"...like a pigeon on a monument.

Funny story, actually.. They sent me an e-mail on December 2nd to let me know that they were passed the 15 week processing time. Of course, by then, it had almost been 30 weeks!

They said I could call and get a replacement card, if I wanted.. but I'd rather have the LaPorta. What a bummer though.. Oh well, once I finally get it, I'll probably think it was worth the wait.

I've been waiting for 2 Rookie Redemptions.. Both of the Hanson ones.. and a Travis Snider also.. Pulled them all within the first week of release and I have nothing!

I have also been waiting since March 23 for a Max Scherzer from SP Authentic!

Actually.. I just checked and #2 is shipped!! Why wouldn't they sent the other one too? It's not like they don't have his auto stickers sittin around

no kidding...some 08 SPA jersey/auto Jayson Nix #'d to 199 or so..it's only a $10 BV card so not really on the edge of my seat...but would be nice to have it none the less since it was one of my "pulls" from my box lol.

yeah I got the same about my redemption of #6 Kyle Blanks or something like that, they won't exchange Finest redemptions nor do anything because they will be made

Thats nothing. I've waited over 2 years before. The redemption process is a mess. I think the only thing that should have a redemption card placed in the box is something that is too large to package (whole bat, jersey, etc).

i've been waiting since last june thas 2008 for two from topps a jed lowrie auto which a resent call to tops informed me that they were waiting for jed to sign the cards. and the other was a topps co-signers brenden ryan/chris duncan. i dont know whats up with that one. it's really a royal shame how these major company's treat they customer's.
