'79 Topps set finished

I got a '79 Topps #225 Goose Gossage in today that finished my set. I really like the 70s Topps stuff. I need to get back to work on these sets instead of work on the new stuff so much. I think after I get the 2012 Topps series 2 Gold Sparkle done I will do just that. Just build the base set each year and not work on the insert and paralell sets.

Congratulations. I wrapped my 79 set up about a year and a half ago, unfortunately, I haven't finished another vintage Topps set up since.....

I managed to pickup these rookies '78 Murray and a '78 Molitor will I was getting the '79s but I think I will work on the '73 set next. I really like that one.

I'm doing the exact same thing Gary. I'm stuck on the 78 and 77 sets currently. Congrats on the 79 set!

Congrats. I am slowly working on my 1972 and 1971 sets. The high #'s are killers. I will head over to the card shop and try and pick up some 1978's for you. I finally finished my 1973 set about 6 months ago. The Schmidt rookie was the last one i needed. Anyway good luck with you collection.
