Bando is often remembered for his home runs, and always seemed to come through for the A's in the postseason back in the '70's, but he really had a great glove and strong arm, too! He just had the misfortune to same the same position in the same league as Brooks Robinson. Parker was the best fielding first sacker I ever saw. Period. Two great corner men with great gloves and pretty hot bats. A pretty nice day.
