hope this sub-forum (card talk) is ok for this ....if not , feel free to move it to wherever it would fit better (possibly hobby help ?)......

i actually posted this on another site with more traffic last week , but only got one reply offering any input so figured i'd try it here in hopes of gleaning a little bit more info.....

the last shop within an hour's drive of here closed down in 2010....they were quite high on most of their inventory , including supplies (3.96 for basic 20-point toploaders , 5.96 for thicker ones , and 25.00 for 100 album pages just to cite a few examples - and bear in mind these were prices nearly a decade ago)....

setting up weekly at one of the local flea markets , my partners and i started carrying just a few basic supplies (20-points top loaders , soft sleeves , and 9-pocket pages whose pricing i was fairly well up-to-date on) 2 years ago but lately i've been trying to broaden that a bit....the problem for me is that with no shops anywhere near here , i'm not really all that up to date on the current pricing of some of the supplies that i don't use for myself....i know what i can get them for online in quantities anywhere from a single item to multiple cases , but what i'm looking for is a little input on what SHOPS around the country actually charge for these items and what typical collectors EXPECT to pay for them when buying just a single pack or two instead of buying in bulk.......

i've posted a list below of supplies that i either already do have in stock , am planning to add , or that i've had customers ask about already....i don't want anyone to knock themselves out here and you don't even have to add info for every item , but i'd really appreciate it if you could add in the typical cost you'd expect to pay if you were buying these at a shop in your area....except where noted in parentheses , i'm looking for prices per single item....

thanks in advance for your time ,
claude

thanks for the input....much appreciated....

most of those are pretty close to what i already have items priced at or at least what i had in mind on items i'm looking to add .....in comparison to what the last local shop had (going back to 2010 and earlier) the biggest disparities come on the monster boxes they sold in the 6.50 to 7.50 range and the 9-pocket pages they had at a whopping $25 per box ....based on that , i originally had mine in the 18-20 range but ended up having to drop them down to $16 which provides a pretty small profit margin ......

the biggie i'm still fishing for is nfo on the one-touches.....i've never used them and since the old shop never had them , i have never really seen what they typically sell for....
