A.S. Fanfest KC

[89Giants]

Well I decided to go to Kansas City for a few days for the fanfest and Futures game to knock KC off my ballpark list. Had a great time tried a burnt end sandwich it was tasty! Met one of my childhood favorite players Bo Jackson. He was only signing provided 8x10s which kind of sucked but its not that bad looking, plus all autos are MLB Authenticated. Futures guys didn't sign much this year, due to the heat most likely. Also after the futures/celebrity game I ran into a bunch of guys in the lobby having drinks which was cool. Ivan Rodriguez sat right behind me so I had to say hi. Also all of the celebs were there, got Horatio Sanz and Haley Reinhart to sign my program. Everyone was nice except for Dave Winfield and Joe Carter but I already knew that so I didnt even talk to them, but I did see several kids and adults get ignored/rejected by them.

Also went to my first Reno Aces game when Las Vegas was in town, got Jamie Moyer right before he was released. He was really nice, Dave Steib was helping out with the team as well. Great stuff there, I'm a big fan of Jim Eisenreich. I have a son with Tourette syndrome (mild case), and I plan to use Mr. Eisenreich's story as an example of how you can persevere if I ever need to.
