Went down to AZ to go to the fanfest for a few days and to go to the futures game. This was my 3rd allstar fanfest and what I hoped for was true- not near as many people here as were at the others. Was able to get almost all available players doing MLB Authenticated signings and because most werent big names even got multiples or the lines were short enough to go back through. I couldnt believe it. I got more than 50 mlb authenticated cards. This to me is the most full-proof form of authentication as it is not judgement based. The authenticators are right next to the players and they even put what they are signing in the computer. It takes them a few months to put them online but when they do its cool to see. They are very strict with a 1 per policy but I decided to hand the lower end players 2 and nobody rejected me. I didnt scan everything, just too much stuff scattered over floor right now. I also got a mlb auth cal ripken ball for using my BofA credit card. They had some great offers at the fanfest. Just before I went I got Fontenot on the rehab with fresno to sign my WS ball and a few cards(not pictured). The blank cards are signed by Greg Zaun whom I sall walking around and Gary Thorne, ESPN announcer. I talked to him for 20 min or so telling him how much I cant stand Buck, McCarver, Joe Morgan, Eric Young, etc. He was just laughing at me most of the time but it felt good to talk to someone who actually knew baseball.

congrats awesome list of guys..If the Jeff Nelson Yankees one is for trade pm me with what you would be looking for

Awesome haul in person!

Would the 89 Topps Fred Lynn possible be for trade? PM me for a quick response.

Thanks

Great stuff! Thanks for posting the pictures! Is that really Todd McFarlane's signature? Looks like he was practicing his "fancy" printing! :)

Would you be interesting in trading one of the Brad Peacock 08 Bowman Chromes? If so, what would you like in return?

Durazo was IMPOSSIBLE to get when he played. That's the first time I've ever seen a sharpie in his hand!

Earl Weaver is a favorite of mine from the 70s. Would you be willing to trade one? I'd also be interested in one of the Delucci in Indians uni if available... I never got him while he was in Cleveland.

I have 20 years of IP autographs in my collection. Let me know if there's a team / player you've been chasing and maybe I have one.
If interested, PM me as I'm not following the thread.

Regards,

Michael
