Allen & Ginter the iconic issue has returned. The design is basically the same as it has been for years. The reverse has everything spelled out - i.e. no numbers such as games played (one hundred forty two.) The reverse has write-ups on non baseball players - folks that stand out in their own right.
I like the older/retired/Hall of Famers, such as Ruth, Gehrig, Musial, Koufax, Gibson to be included occasionally in issues. This furthers their legacies in the greatest sport ever. Younger folks need to be kept aware of the great rich history of America's sport - BASEBALL!
Set builders, player collectors, and icon collectors - Mercer, Claiboune,Bonomo Kepner, Colby to name a few, along with auto collectors, and the mini-set builders, and the subset collectors should all be happy with Allen & Ginter 2019.

**In all my years of ripping boxes, this is, I believe the 2nd Rip Card I have ever pulled...literally 000's of boxes....
OK -- I have not ripped this card ....yet. I will leave it up to the folks that actually read this. Vote on this thread -- to rip or not to rip. On the 'bay, unripped - $50+ ... just sayin'. Could be a 1/1 or auto, or wooden card.... who knows?**

Go buy several boxes and see if you pull a rip card - either way send the Rays mini's to me!
