Anyone Sitting On "Junk Wax"? Post It Here!

Actually, have both boxes and packs. Tons of loose rack packs, many loose cellos and wax. The boxes are of things like 87 Topps, if I recall. I'd love to trade them all off in a big old lot. I could even eat some of the postage, just to make my wife happy. (Happy wife, happy life).

Ok everybody, anyone have any low end complete sets to trade for some low end Unopened?

About 10 years ago, I bought a case of 1986 Sportflics for about $7-8 a box. The case is still sealed, don't quite know what to with it...but it is cool to look at sitting on my bookshelf.

I also have most of a box of 1989 Topps wax packs left over from when I did shows. Plus a few random rack packs of 1985, 1987, and 1988 Topps (with Nolan Ryan on the front).

Yep, that is the year with the Yount Yankees error. I wonder if there is one sitting in the case...but I wouldn't count on it.

Local card shop. I used to think it stood for League Championship Series.

I have a lot of sets, Topps, Chrome Traded, Fleer Updates, and a box of 1991 Line Drive AA, and a 1987 Donruss Box (both full boxes if anyone is interested) ...who knows??

off the top of my head... 4 boxes left from a 10 box case 1990 Donruss Error, 4 boxes 1989 Donruss, 2 boxes 1988 Fleer, 1 box 1986 Topps, 1 box 1985 Topps with the undated wrappers, 1 box 1993 OPC, and then a handful of 1988 and 1989 Topps Rack packs with stars on front or back.

I have to thank Craig again for this thread. I had a great time looking through my old "junk" unopened packs over the past day. I was brought back to a simpler time (college)...when I bought these crazy packs. I have to wonder where I got the money?

Anyway, I found about 300 rack packs of various brands, mainly 88-90 Donruss, 87-89 Topps, 89-90 Fleer. Also, found some unopened cello, mainly of the same. Then there's that 3200 ct box of wax packs, mostly...the same.

Ha! It was fun anyway.

It was sold to me by a friend as an error case, the first 6 boxes confirmed that with the Ryan and Gonzalez errors

Way more than it's worth. I bought in at what turned out to be peak market, right when Griffey went to Cincy, so I'm in it for $23/box. You'd be better served picking up a lot like THIS. My stubborn nature will make me open those boxes before I sell them for the loss I'd take.

I always wondered if there was a way to tell those kind of things. Such as with the 1989 Fleer Errors. Ripken etc...
