this was on another board thought this was crazy!.......


Mailed a 1992 Topps card in the summer or fall of 1992 to Chris James. Got it back today, 4/25/11...yes, almost 19 years later. THE longest it's ever taken a success. I was 14 years old when I mailed it. Thankfully my folks still live in the house I grew up in. The guy must have misplaced his mail...haha. Notice the 29 cent stamp. At least he added current postage, I guess I deserved it after waiting SO long! 8 years was my previous longest wait.

DONT EVER GIVE UP!!

also on another board there was a 11 yr wait sent in 1999
he must of just stumbled across a batch of fanmail....at lease he signed it!!

I too saw it on the other board and posted a response. Crazy.
I sent Mike Scott (Pitcher for the Houston Astros at the time) a card TTM. I don't remember if I enclosed a S.A.S.E. I was new to the game. LoL.
This might have been 1988. To this day, I yet to receive it.
