1. best bat for autos? natural wood or black?
2. if black what marker? sharpie or paint pen?
3. where do i find a bat? ebay best spot or anyone know of a spot? or have one they wanna sell? thanks

I have gotten both black and natural wood bats signed. I have some that are over 20 years old and still look great. I used blue Sharpie on the natural wood bats and silver paint pen on the black bat.

I agree with checking out a sporting goods store like Dick's or something like that. Bats will run you about $25 (last time I checked), unless you find something online and buy in bulk.

If you have a Rawlings Outlet store near you you can get them for $20.

If you do use a black bat go with the paint pen. Silver sharpies are horrible.

If you get black definately go with paint pen over sharpie if you can. Its a huge difference. I have a brownish team bat thats signed in both and you can definately tell what was done in sharpie and what was done in the paint pen.
