Badger Takes Place Among Greats
Thursday, February 6th, 2025: Thousands of fans braved the scorching sun to watch and cheer as baseball's latest legend, Gerald Badger, was inducted into the Bench Sim Major League Hall of Fame today. With his 631 home runs, 2620 hits and lifetime .306 batting average, everyone knew the gifted right fielder belonged with the immortals of the game. Still, Badger remained humble.
"I'm a very lucky person to be born with the skill to play baseball and through baseball I built a name for myself," said Badger. Now finally his career as a baseball player is complete, "This seals it," he said. "To get the recognition that every ballplayer seeks -- this is completion for me."
Badger retired recently at 43. In his epic career he played in 2306 games and finished with 1679 RBIs and 1492 runs scored.
Commissioner's Note: Was a 10-time All-Star who won the 2020 AL MVP. He has been inducted into the BSL Hall of Fame as a New York Met, where he spent his first 10 seasons.
Gonzalez Joins HOF Legends

Adrian Gonzalez truly was one of the best to play the game and today he was enshrined into the Bench Sim Major League Hall of Fame.
"It is an honor to be mentioned with the greatest players of all time. I want to thank my family, friends and teammates for supporting me throughtout this long career," the outstanding first baseman said at the induction ceremony.
In his career, Gonzalez played in 2431 games with a .283 lifetime batting average. Among his 2594 hits were 554 doubles, 27 triples and 483 home runs. He also scored 1408 runs and drove in 1542 runs.
Adrian Gonzalez retired from baseball at the age of 42.
Commissioner's Note: Was a 5-time All-Star who won an astonishing 7 Gold Glove awards at 1B (including 6 in a row). He has been inducted into the BSL Hall of Fame as a Minnesota Twin, where he spent his first 10 seasons.
