BSL Offseason #6: New Year

- I forgot to enter trades trying to rush this sim through today. I will enter them next sim (my final one before Nick takes back over)

- The next sim will push through to in-game preseason, so if you are planning on signing people, make sure to have a few roster spots open, otherwise if your 40 is full and they will not go to minors, I will release who I see fit. Again, there is NO point in placing a player on waivers this sim, aside from the fact they will automatically clear and can be demoted to minors IF there is room. Otherwise they will be released outright.

- Tony, I fixed the error from last sim with the players I released instead of demoting that cleared waivers.

The next sim, I will generate the new 28-team schedules. Also, free agents that haven't signed usually start dropping their prices at that point (although the Type A players will still cost you a draft pick so beware!)

After that, Nick will take over. We will probably have one or two sims up to Spring training, then the games start.

shouldn't it be Boston ? because Tampa Bay signed Alexi Ogando a type A free agent

Does anyone have this issue? When I am on reports and try to bring up player ratings it always says it has a error and logs me off. This has always happened I haven't tried it in awhile but wanted to look after Heath had mentioned his player ratings.

Best method, in software click roster the. Sort by all of organization. Click for player to gi into profile. Click scouting report tab. You will see arrow to advance through players one by one. After get all the way around, go under team menu to player development then click player dev report and sort to 'at least one year'. Then you can view the changes in actual and potential ratings as an organization

No he played for Boston and i didn't resign him so he became a FA (type A) so Boston should have pick 1 in the supplemental round

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought Ogando was a Type B, not a Type A free agent.

No i believe he is a Type A free agent but could be wrong i am sure Cory will sort it all out.

Totally understand. If we get some decent pitching though look out, were going to hit for sure and I think my Nick Kane will win rookie of the year but I'm a little biased.
