Looking at another tough year, but after this year, both Peavy (best boat anchor ever) and Hamilton can come off the books. Minors look solid, so 2018 will be the season we are looking at to start the bounceback.

Braves exported, been a quit off season so far for the Braves bringing back most of the same faces with a few exceptions. Looking forward to another tough year in the East but on paper I have to say that the Phillies seem to be much improved over last year.
Oakland is hoping that you keep eyeing from the behind, and admiring our behinds!!!! Trying to woooo a nice shortstop or 3rd baseman here to Oakland, but the money just seems to be too much. Even though we are $50K under budget, I don't want to shell it out, LOL. It wasn't that long ago we were worrying about losing a draft pick. We lost 40% of our rotation, but the offense seems to be intact yet. Hoping that Peterson's success in winning the AAA MVP Hitter of the Year in '16 will translate into success at the big league level. We hope that he fills the shoes of Markakis, in a much cheaper way.

I think the NL Central may be as balanced as ever. All teams have a lot of talent, should be another interesting season! Of course my chances took a hit with dome recent trades of top pitching but overall I'm very pleased and excited about my Cards! Can't wait to get this bad boy Rollin'!

I think the NL East as a whole is all improved. I know the record doesn't show it but without looking at actual numbers here. It seems nobody has dominated the East division record wise which means Mets, Phillies, Braves, Nats and Marlins tend to beat up on each other creating the .500 average.
I think I got you beat on that with Hanley... going on 4 yrs of non production at 17 mil a pop. All last yr I left him on the 60 day DL just so I could have a free roster spot. Hopefully after this yr I have enough cash on hand to cut sling with him!
I don't know...This will be year #4 of Peavy non-production (19 mil per) and I haven't been able to stash him on the DL and he was a Type A FA costing me a first rounder....but he is gone after this year, it will be tough not to pick up the team option, but somehow I will see my way to doing so....
