LAA is all set...

On this day and not really a tough choice and a meeting with the front office (actually myself lol)..i have decided to step
down as the Angels owner..i am simply not into it as much as i once was-I will however stay with the team until a new
owner is found-Once a new owner for the Angels is found i will step down ..hopefully this process will not take
to long-I am not going to rule out returning as an team owner down the road..its been fun and its 10x better than
fantasy baseball.

Best,
David
LAA GM/OWNER

David - considering that we have 3+ teams without owners already, it may very well be a long time before a replacement owner is found. It seems a lot of people are getting burned out or detached from their teams, which is sad because the league really needs a full roster of owners to be as realistic as possible. Everyone who cares about the BSL long term needs to think really hard about possible replacements for some of the empty teams. Otherwise, I feel a major issue rising down the line a bit.

what about trying to recruit fantasy players who are not bench members to join basically to play in the BSL? We have so many members here who would make great owners who have not joined it would be great if some would give it a shot.

Not a problem i will stick with it...since the league is in need of 3 owners-Would be it possible to maybe take over another team ? if not no big deal thought i would ask.

Your offense scares the crap out of me...it goes to show what a few timely trades and good drafting will do. A lot of people could and should pay attention to how the first time playoff teams made it in. I can guarantee you it isn't trading their whole roster 3 times a year.

I guess that the Blue Jays could be the exception to that statement... We have been in the playoffs 6 of the 10 seasons that we have played so far in the BSL 2.0.. Only Heath probably has flipped his team more often than me.. LOL!!! Then again, it helps having a good farm system to back you up...

I am hoping that the World Series could down to the AL East and NL West teams since they are the only divisions to have not won it all yet.. 2007 is wrong in the history files, Boston did not win!! They didn't even make the playoffs. So Go Orioles,Yankees, Padres, and Giants!!

I have flipped my roster a lot more then anyone else. I always have a idea in mind and then get in patient lol but with that said I'm just a hair or two below .500 since 2007. 183 wins last 2 seasons! Which is 91.5 games last 2 seasons. I can't complain it maybe unconventional but doesn't mean its wrong. Btw not a lot of top talent in minors but my AA and AAA teams both do very well granted a lot of Vets down there. NL Central is a crazy division I would argue the most unpredictable. One Year the Brewers go off last year my team snuck up. Every season Eric and Nick are a force. Houston and Pittsburgh loaded with young talent. I'm personally excited for Mike May he is a 4 1/2 star potential now on the fast track it appears. If Jordan and Sonnastine pitch how they have for me and Gallardo shakes the rust from his injury, May maybe a June call up. Excited to see where that may do for us.

We should all start looking for new owners to take over the three teams we have open right now--Houston, Boston and Cleveland. If you have a friend you know would like it recruit them for the BSL, all they have to do is sign up at The Bench and buy the software to play.

David, I know it's not quite as fun when you're not winning but it's still fun isn't it?:) My Tigers have been rebuilding now for 6 seasons and I've enjoyed it even though I'm not making the playoffs. I still look forward to seeing the box scores, the potential free agents, how my prospects are doing, etc.

Not that I'm an expert or that you're doing anything wrong but if you want me to look over your team and give some suggestions/opinions I would be more than willing to help.
