Rule 5 is upon us. I stopped on sim day 11/30. All teams need to protect players in their minors with a "#" sign by placing them on their 40 man roster IF they don't wish to have them exposed to Rule 5 draft. You can right click and add to 40 man roster, or drag them there in the transaction overview. If they have the # sign and are not protected this export, they will be eligible for any team to draft and keep on their MLB roster this season.
You can also make FA offers as well, being as it will only be a 1-day sim to the draft, I don't see why anyone would actually respond to them, but they will be on the table.
Export deadline for Rule 5 protections is Thursday at noon central.
I also MUST hear from Minnesota and Milwaukee by that time, or their teams will be assigned as 2nd teams. It has been nearly a month now real-time.
