BSL Update 2021#1: New League Year

File is uploading now. I bumped the sim to the first of the year so I could process retirements, etc.

I forgot to process trades (just for you, Heath) so they will get done next sim.

Baltimore spent a ton of money as a 2nd team, they are just a hair over owner budget which needs fixed. San Francisco is as well, but they have a giant 20 million player development fund that can be reduced down after preseason kicks in.

A lot of free agents signed, but there is still some quality out there. Remember, even if you made an offer in the past, I recommend re-offering EVERY sim unless the player says he is still considering the offer when you try to submit it. Otherwise, he has declined it and you may think you are in the bidding when you are not.

Next export deadline will be Wednesday at noon central time.

Cory that is my plan with the Giants to reduce the player development from $24M to $1M.. So that the team can make money next season and take advantage of the new cash balance.

Same here. I plan on only using 1-3 million.

Mets O's exported on a side note that 3 year in Brauns contract was suppose to be a team option I must of messed that one up.

Cards exported got some scrub players I signed no flashy signings but feel good about the team overall at the moment. Thanks to Pat for taking on Verlander's contract for me. That will help along with Jellarde to the Brewers lost a some $ in that deal should be slightly under or right at my budget.
