I'll go with 69! Remember leaving a game early.....let the boo's come......Lefted the game ..in bottom of the three....score was A's 10 and Mariners 1 .....was I was walking to the Amtrak Station.....several late arriving A's fan asked me......game over : ).....when I told them the score....a few of them said.....okay its over! Best regards, David PS caught the train back to San Francisco....and had a lovely Japanese lunch/dinner!

i'll give it a shot.....

despite being an absolute baseball fanatic , i've never been to a major league game or college game and only 2 minor league games so my fondest memory isn't of any game i ever attended , but of one i was watching on tv a nearly a decade ago...in south carolina's run to the second of their back-to-back national titles we were facing florida in game one of the championship series.....with the game tied the gators loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the ninth and just needed to get one run across to down my gamecocks....we brought the infield in and induced a weak grounder to scott wingo at second who fired home (nearly hitting the bat after it was dropped by the batter) for the first out , leaving the bases loaded....next batter hits another grounder to wingo who fired one to the catcher who then threw to first to complete the double play and send the game to extra innings where we managed to take the win and series lead.....

runner up - michael roth's third career start (and first of the season) in the previous college world series against clemson....we were already in the loser's bracket so we had our backs to the wall....roth drew the start and by all accounts , the staff was HOPING he could go 2-3 innings and set up a bullpen game....instead he tossed a complete game 3-hitter for the win .....absolute magic that sent us on our way to our first title.....

#20-As a 8 year old living 2 blocks from Yankee Stadium, I collected soda bottles for the deposit change. After a week or so depending on the schedule I would cash them in and buy a bleacher seat for Sunday games. A dollar bill would get you a .50 admission, .15 hot dog and a .10 soda. All to watch #7 and the rest of the Bronx Bombers. This lasted about 2 years and we moved to South Jersey.

The first autograph from a major league baseball player, that I can remember getting growing up was of Tony Clark. Current MLBPA leader. Circa 1996.
The second autograph was that of ageless Bartolo Colon, during his first major league baseball game. I still have the ball and card from Scoreboard Multi-Sport 96 he signed. He told me in Spanish, hold onto this, one day I will become a really good baseball player. And darn if he didn't!

#21.

I will always remember the home run that Marquis Grissom hit in the playoffs for the Indians. I can still see him rounding first base and pumping his fist a little. That was the only emotion I ever saw him display. He was a very underrated player for some really good Expo and Indians teams. Thinking of that home run gives me goose bumps to this day.

For my Bachelor Party, it was held at Camden Yards during Game 1 of the 2014 ALCS. Unfortunately, it was the beginning of the end for the Orioles, but for the first time in my history, I got to see a Postseason Baseball, up and close with my favorite team.

4, 5, 9, 12, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 32, 35, 38, 41, 43, 52, 44, 68, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74. No winner yet, will close Friday night, get those guesses in for today and tomorrow!

LOVE the stories, I have been to many baseball bachelor parties, and love them, since it is an easy evening for me (I am a 12 stepper, and dont drink, so I am typically the designated driver). I take a vanload of people there and another vanload back, about 55 minutes to and from STL, and I am home for the night. I feel like there was about a 5 year period after my brother got married in 2011 where I went to Busch Stadium for a bachelor party game at least once per season. Great way to celebrate, fun to tailgate before and after too!

Keep the stories rolling in too, love this thread!

God Bless,

Kevin

I will try #58 today! Went to Wrigley in 2012 and sat with my wife right on the wall in right field.........That's where the Mets bullpen warmed up...........The crowd was giving the reliever, Jon Rauch, a hard time because he is HUGE, 6'10" and the crowd was imbibing...........When he went in the game Ricky Bones, the pitching coach, tossed me the ball because I was the only one in that section wearing a Mets jersey and a glove.........Cool time in Chicago!

Shoot, my dad wore a Celtics shirt in the bleachers in about 1986 and got a bad time from the fans, not even the same sport!
