It's amusing looking at a box of stuff I haven't organized in awhile. The penny sleeve is the basic level o respect. I put any Insert in a sleeve, as well as cards of stars. This time through, Miggy Cabrera, Justin Verlander, Matt Kemp, and Clayton Kershaw are all getting penny sleeve treatment. Not all ARods are, which is new.

With a new MLB season complete, who is in, and who is out, for you?

Everyone whos a star and prospects make the cut for the penny sleeves....after about 3 to 4 years....the prospects who fizzle out.....go in the trash...unless there in set! Best regards, David

I think I overdue it when it comes to penny sleeves. I put pretty much all inserts/parallels and stars/minor stars in a sleeve... plus any card with a BV of .75 or more. How could you remove A-Rod from the sleeves? As much as I dislike him his cards are still usually .75 or more. :)

I'm more of a set collector so inserts and parallels will usually go into sleeves with some current and retired stars (Jeter, Pujols, Ripken, Ruth, etc.). Harper and Trout were two obvious ones this year. Also most Cubs and Brewers for me as well. Miggy and Verlander make the cut too.
