Finally finished with this one. Not sure how many cards it took, as I am working on several at once.

It's unbelievable...how many hours does it take to do something like that? Have you ever recorded yourself for purposes of documentary or anything like that?? If you have any videos I would love to watch!

Thanks again for the love, guys! Beachbum: The time that it takes is probably the reason I have never recorded the card art being made. It takes somewhere between 38-50 hours for each one....spread out over the course of several weeks or months (depending on the time of the year. I teach also.)

Thanks again!

Tim

Yeah, I understand....I don't know what you teach (probably art or somekind) but I am surprised that no one has made a documentary on you, like a student, colleague, etc.

I know it is repetitive of what everyone else is saying, but you do amazing work! The detail pics of how it is put together is fascinating.

That's very flattering. I'd probably terrify someone if they hung out with me over a long period of time while I worked - I'm patient as can be with the art until things don't go my way....after 35 hours or so on one piece, a mistake can make me highly upset, lol!

Best one yet, and that is meant as a compliment, your others have been awesome too!

Totally taken as a compliment. I feel like I get better with each piece, and I think I have evolved quickly since my first piece 5years ago (the Wagner).

Thanks again to all.

You should consider having a card set made in standard size that highlights all of the different pieces you've done. I'd bet there would be interest. I suppose there may be some licensing issues there though, but it's cool to think that you could make a set of your own art. I saw someone mention making prints of them on another site.
