Any player's true RC is always from a regular issued set. He actually had cards from 2011 as well, but all the cards from 2011, 2012, and 2013 were all from non-major issued sets. They were minor league, draft, insert and prospect sets. So the cards from 2014 that are considered RCs are indeed his rookie cards as they are all from regular issued sets.
