custom card makers

Hey guys

if your making custom cards, i need some feedback, my printer is on its last leg and i need to replace it. this one i currently have is not at all good for printing cards as its just a standard lexm ark printer and good for letters and thats about it.

my question is though, what printer do you use, Inkjet? Laser? I am kind of hoping for a specific kind of printer thats the better or best to use for making cards.

I use a HP Deskjet 5940 - I print my cards using HP Premium Photo Paper

there are companies online that will print your design as long as it is in 300 dpi.
