Just curious what experience others have had getting the Diamond Giveaway cards. I just withdrew 24 cards for free along with my 60th Ann set. I had a couple of 60's cards in great shape, a few early '70s cards in EX or so condition, I am going through the pile and I get to a 1975 Billy Grabarkewitz that looks like it was pulled out of a gutter, dried off, and sent to me. I mean very very poor condition. I had another '75 that was a little rough as well. Makes me worry about some cards I have traded for on the site, and what condition will be. Most everything past the '75 stuff is in terrific shape. Not sure why Topps would send me something so roughed up.

Anyone else received cards and what condition were they in?

all of my cards have been in great shape. Some of the 50's were a little worn but hey look how old it is. But some poeple acually get cards that look like they have been in the spokes....
Did you get the set of cards too? Im still waiting for mine

Haven't received the set yet, the info on the site says around the 15th, but based on how they have been pushing back sets, it will probably be into September.

Some nice ones Jax! No stars in my group - have some more I want to ship, but not sure I want to pay the quarter for some of the 70's stuff if it is gonna come like it's been through a washing machine. I'll post a scan of Billy to show...

Here Billy G is in all of his glory!

I've had a wide range of card condition but none that bad. I was wondering where they got some of those cards. Overall I'm satisfied with what I got. Anyone get anything really good?? Butch

I'd say the real crime with that card is the horrendously airbrushed cap. I know they did a lot of that back in the day, but that is especially bad, it looks like he's a wearing a cartoon cap!
