There's no way to tell. Are you asking if you got an amazing deal opposed to resale value? That's the only possible thing I could think that you would be thinking. There's no possible way for us to tell as a community how well you did because we don't know what cards you're mainly looking for and what your interests are... or as a whole how happy you were with the result of the trade.

It's completely up to you how you feel. I don't know the resale values off the top of my head but as long as their close and not too lopsided then I would say that you both did pretty well if you're happier with the card that you ended up with after then before.

I would say the Belt is the only card that has a chance to go up in value, so unless you really like Soriano or Topps Sterling cards, I would say it is average.

From a personal standpoint, I like the deal. Im not a prospect guy, so id rather have your end. But from a investment pov, I agree with the others in that the Belt is the only card with a real chance of increasing in value.

But all that matters is whether you are happy. I trade in others favor all the time if it is for a card I really want.

I get what you guys are all saying.
I was looking at sell value of Brandon belt and the auto i have of his is 30-45. Soriano Has very Poor sell value, His auto /50 (topps) was selling for 14.36
he gave me till sunday night to decide..
I'm Leaning toward no now..Brandon Belt has promising Stats hitting a .326 Avg in 2010... soriano stats are usually in the .250
all though It is a REALLY cool looking card, theres no point in giving an auto of a upcoming star for a older player what will retire soon
So you guys are thinking I shouldn't take the deal either?

I wouldn't say that - there's a good chance that Brandon Belt turns out to be no better than Soriano or hundreds of star players in that same range. Could Belt's auto sell for $300 in 5 years? Possibly. Or more likely it could be no more than the $20 it costs to get Billy Butler's Bowman Chrome auto. To me, the deciding factor is "REALLY cool looking card". Can you afford to buy a box of Topps Sterling, much less pull the same card? Probably not. Is it likely the same card will come up on ebay #d/10? Again, probably not.
