With the holidays approaching and having some time off, I am trying to get organized. In that spirit, I took a 3200 count box of commons that no one ever asks for anymore and I took it to the Shriners Childrens Hospital here in St. Louis. I dropped it off at the desk and said that maybe some of the kids would get some pleasure from them. The volunteer at the desk was very appreciative. I'm sure there are homes or hospitals in your city that would appreciate any cards you might want to get rid of. Happy Holidays to all my fellow Bench mates. Aaron

Great idea! I have taken thousands & thousands of extra singles to my local childrens hospital over the last ten years. I usually don't do them in boxes, though, I wrap a hundred or so in saran wrap so the kids can see a card or two. I call them "bricks", LOL. The kids love them.

i've mentioned this in an older post somewhere, but i've team bagged mixed lots of baseball, basketball and football, and i have given them out for halloween. suprisingly, to me, the kids went nuts!!!
