I know that Ebay has made several changes lately, but this one caught me by surprise. I was bidding on a card and the current bid was $13.00. I attempted to bid $13.80 and found that bid was not sufficient. It noted that I needed to bid at least $14.50. I refreshed the page to see if someone had just bid and bumped it higher than $13.00, which would make sense, but the current bid was still at $13.00. I did not think that $1.50 bid increments would take effect until the bid got a lot higher. Does anybody know if Ebay has made some recent changes to bid increments?

Never mind, just read your full description, not sure what happened if someone didn't bid $14.00 at exactly the same time you bid $13.80.

Wonder if their max was $14.00....and high bid on the item was $13.00 so if you bid $13.80 was not allowed...because it had to be at least $14.50? Best regards, David

Agreed - sounds to me like that was the case. Although, wouldn't a bidder in that instance get the "you've been outbid" notice?
