Yesterday, I won a 2010 Topps Update Black Giancarlo Stanton RC /59 for $412.59 from eBay seller j_boz56. A few hours after paying, my order was cancelled without any sort of communication or explanation from the seller.

I’m not sure what the seller expected. Stanton has been out with injury for two months. The card had been listed for quite some time with BIN/BO. If you’re going to move it to an auction without setting a reserve, that’s on you if you don’t like the sale price, especially if you’re selling a card when someone is injured.

Just giving you all a heads up to avoid sellers who pull stunts like this.

This is not only happening on ebay but it is happening on Sportlots quite often lately. I pay for cards and then the seller says they are not in inventory or outright doesn't send the cards. I files a complaint on Sportlots and the person asked for 5 more days. I didn't realize that after 5 days they assume you got the cards. So on the 7th day I said I still had not recived my cards and I was told tough luck. No cards and no refund.
