I think it has to do with how they were inserted.
cards 76-100 were 1 per box in topps opening day. I think because its a retail product, not as many of them make it to the main collector's market the same way that hobby items do.
That's the only thing that makes sense to me at least.

It looks like 76-100 were 1:36 out of Topps Opening Day. All book at $40. Probably due to market scarcity as Opening Day is not a widely broke product.
That makes sense, Thanks guys, guess I could ve done that myself 
and the ironic thing is, i'm sure a box of those opening day costs much less than $40.
