Some of you might remember a couple successes I had dating back a few months now... the first was a 16x20 of El Presidente throwing his perfect game. When I got that one back, it got me thinking I should get 2 more matching photos of the only other 2 pitchers to have thrown no hitters for the Expos. The team has 4 total, but only 3 pitchers accomplished it. That's because one pitcher has 2 of them, Bill Stoneman... and that's where I went next. He signed a 16x20 for me near the end of the season.
Today, the 3rd one came in.... Charlie Lea signed it beautifully for me. Unfortunately it's a bit banged up, I think the trip here was a hard one. The poster tube I used for mailing arrived crushed and the 16x20 was badly dinged and creased (can't really tell from the below photo)... But I'm still extremely happy with it. I love this set of 3. Can't wait to get them framed and on my wall. All three photos are taken on the day of their no hitters... Martinez during the game, Lea post-game on the field and Stoneman post-game in the locker room.
Since it's a small set, I figure I could show them all... here are the other 2.
