Hi fellow Benchies !!
Just throwing this out for input.
What is your favorite carded you received in a trade on this site? I'm sure my feelings will change, but for the last few months its been a 1970 Alan Page RC,..I collect 99.99% baseball but I always wanted one,..

Yours?

Clint

That's a good question - I'll have to peruse the trade manager at some point, but I'm guessing either my Joe Montana Heritage SP auto or my Zach Wheat cut auto

Timeless Treasures World Series Game Used Baseball (Stitching/lettering) Babe Ruth and a Ultimate Collection Ichiro Auto RC were a couple of my favorites. Sold the Ichiro, and the Ruth was stolen in a deal years ago.

Probably this (ugly as it may be):

I didn't even know it existed until a fellow Benchie uncovered it.

Just seems like there's something fundamentally wrong about that card. It's like the bizarro version of what should be. Is there a similar card of Wade Boggs and Roger Clemens in pinstripes?

If you have ever been fortunate enough to win a DAVID K contest, then that might be the best, as it was for me:

2008 Upper Deck Heroes Autographs Beige #47 Ken Griffey Jr./15 :D

Thanks David K

Edit: Oops, just read the title closer. Sorry but it took me a while to type so I'm leaving it.

2008 Mariners Topps #SEA14 Raul Ibanez

Thats right a 50cent card.

Allow me to explain. I work at a Boys & Girls Club. In 2008 I was introduced to a 11 year old boy named Aaron. He was a huge baseball fan. We constatly chatted about Baseball, Mariners, pennant races, baseball cards, etc, etc. Anyway one day I showed him my Ibanez page. He said "cool" and was quite impressed. The next day he shows up with the above card and said, "I had this one that you needed". So strange to me as I did not send him link he went and googled it from home and found it. He had purchased the Mariners team set at a game, busted it out of the blisted just to give me this. If I ever sell my entire collection this is the 1 card that I'll keep.

That's a great story!!! Nice to hear about kids these days more concerned with helping and sharing, rather than what's in it for them.
