Darrell (thehalk) had former Dallas Cowboy/New Orleans Saint Kelvin Edwards speaking at a youth event at his church tonight and invited me to come up and meet him. I got to sit and talk with Kelvin for about 30 min and he said he was going to send Darrell and I some info on a meet & greet at Cowboys Stadium with several old players coming up next week - hope it works out so we can go...it would be an awesome experience. He was calling guys like Charles Haley on the phone while we were talking, not every day you get to sit in on something like that. He was nice enough to sign my Cowboys football, a mini helmet, and two cards for me. I put scans of Kelvin's stuff first, and other shots of my ball/helmet on as well for viewing pleasure

That is awesome Andrew. It sure isn't everyday when you get to sit down and talk to players like that. Very nice.

I remember meeting Larry Fitzgerald at a fundraising event a few years ago and we spent a good 10 minutes talking with him and we had a blast. He was so down to earth and just an all around super nice guy.
