I never had the opportunity to meet him but I have acquired 2 of his autos. One is faded on an 80s Expos ball which I could not get a picture of. The other is this. RIP Mr. Carter. He was a baseball great and He'll be missed.

Unfortunately, I don't currently have any of his memorabilia or auto cards, but he was always a class act and will sorely be missed!

I had several of his cards, but will admit that a recent thread about Carter sent me looking to ebay to see if I needed any others before they spiked. The prices were already very high for common stuff and I'm sure they have still spiked (have not looked yet today).

I did land one of his personal religious cards I didn't have. There were a few I would not have minded getting, but not at the asking prices. Now it will only be worse for a while.

HOLY COW. I just checked and a few days back when I last looked, there were maybe 40-50 Carter signed items. Now there are close to 1000!
