dont know how many know about it or even use Blowout Cards but this came up on my facebook page and it has me considering it, alot of the junk stuff i have will never sell at 1.25 on Comc so this has me wondering if its even a good idea or not.

what do you guys think?

the criteral is pretty strict and there is a no return policy if they feel your card doesnt fit into the guidelines. that kind of concerns me.

anyways what do you think? good or bad idea?

Help me get rid of lots of my gu stuff!! First time I used it and no problems...second time....blowout claimed they never got it...even thought it was signed for......luckly I had it insuranced and finally the USPO paid me the insurance!! Best regards, David PS both times had about 100 gu/autos!!

As long as you understand what they'll accept and you're OK with it, go for it..............Don't do anything you're not comfortable with or have doubts about...........

At a little over $1 per card, I'd rather keep them. I have grabbed 25 cent GU cards from bargain boxes and just sorted them in with base and inserts, giving them no special consideration other than a thicker card. They may not be worth much, but consider that MOST people would be willing to trade equal value or buy at a buck a card anyway for the better brands/better players, so no major gain to send them, especially since you need a minimum of 50 and you pay the shipping. Figure that will be at least $10 right there! Plus, they only take the "good" ones, none of the minors and cheap brands that most people would willingly give away for that price.

Someday, there may be a resurgence of popularity on GU cards. You never know...

I see they're buying again, and football too! :D

I've done it quite a few times. Enough to get me a few nicer cases of cards to bust with no cash investment. Usually, I snag anything off COMC that fits the criterial priced at $0.80 or less. It's way more efficient than cashing out.
